Daniel Whyte III Releases New Take on "Auld Lang Syne" with a Christian Flavor Titled "Let All Past Troubles Be Forgot"

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) December 30, 2011

Daniel Whyte III, who visited the grave of Robert Burns, the author of "Auld Lang Syne" in Scotland, was inspired to write a version of this song that contained Christian themes using the same tune last year. His daughter, Daniella, who is a poet, assisted him. The title of the new song is "Let All Past Troubles Be Forgot". The four versions listed below can be heard on Youtube at: http://tinyurl.com/7jnlrov:

>> Short Play Version

>> Long Play Version -- Revised

>> Traditional Version

>> Original Long Play Version

Not only does this song celebrate the coming of the New Year, but it encourages people to give thanks for years past, to forget the negative things of the past but learn from them, and to be grateful to God for His love, mercy, grace, salvation, and even the second coming of His Son, Jesus Christ, and challenges people to enter the New Year "ready to fight and persevere," and to do great things for the glory of God.

There are three versions of the song: a short play version (with lyrics), a long play version (with full lyrics), and a third version which is played to a more traditional musical rendition of "Auld Lang Syne". The Youtube videos for all three versions may be accessed at the links above. The lyrics to the song are on each video so listeners can sing along.

"Let All Past Troubles Be Forgot" is perfect for singing at church watch night services and Christian New Year's Eve house parties. Churches, pastors, church choir directors, praise and worship leaders, and Christians everywhere are encouraged to take this video and play and sing it in their respective gatherings for the glory of God. Contacting the creators for permission is not necessary.

Daniel Whyte III has also released a revised edition of his New Years book titled How to Forget the Troubles, Problems and Failures of the Past and Make the New Year the Best Year of Your Life. The book is available on Amazon Kindle for just $ 2.99: http://amzn.to/oOx704. The print version is available for $ 7.99 on Amazon.com: http://tinyurl.com/csa7fqm.
